Who is Jesus?

Knowing God is a lifelong journey. But it starts by knowing:

  • God is the creator. He made you.
  • God loves you more than you can possibly imagine.
  • People are born with a selfish nature that creates an attitude of disobedience towards God, called sin. Sin separates us from God.
    Genesis 1:27, Psalm 8:3-6, Isaiah 53:6, Romans 3:23, Isaiah 59:1-2
  • We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or doing good things. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God's offer of forgiveness can anyone be saved from sin's penalty. Jesus, the Son of God came to take the punishment for our selfishness and sin. His death paid the sin penalty.
  • When we turn from our self-ruled life and turn to Jesus in faith we are forgiven and saved from the punishment of sin.
    Romans 6:23, Ephesians 2:8-9, John 14:6, 1:2, Titus 3:5, Galatians 3:26, Romans 5:1, Romans 10:9-10

Deciding to give your life to Jesus Christ is the most important thing you will ever do. You’ve been created to have a relationship with God and to live with the help beginning this life changing relationship with Jesus.

  1. Acknowledge that God has made you and He loves you.
  2. Admit to God that you’ve been selfish and that your disobedience has separated you from Him.
  3. Ask Jesus Christ for the forgiveness He offers and relinquish control of your life to Him.

If you are ready to accept the forgiveness Jesus offers and begin a spiritual journey with Him, just pray this simple prayer:

"Lord Jesus, I believe You are the Son of God and that You died for my sins. I now turn away from my sin and I turn toward You. I open my heart up and ask You to forgive me. Jesus, come into my heart. I receive You as my Lord and Saviour. Thank You for saving me now."
