We believe that God asks us to be extravagantly generous! We incorporate this practice into our weekend services as a way of thanking God for the gifts he gives. This act also helps pay the bills and supports our Foothills Family as we seek to Know God, Love Others, Reach Neighbours and Serve the World in many expressions. Ways To Give

Give Online

Give conveniently online via Realm using your credit card. You can either set up a recurring gift or a one-time donation. This is a safe and convenient option for giving.

In a Service

You can give via cash/cheque directly in the offering plates during weekend services. Click here to use the contact form to request personalized envelopes.

Debit/Credit at Foothills

Machines are available at the Info Desk on weekends and to the right of Reception during the week to give via debit/credit.

Mail a Cheque

You can mail your cheque directly to Foothills Alliance Church, 333 Edgepark Blvd. NW Calgary, AB T3A4K4.

e-Transfer

You can donate via e-Transfer from your bank's website to donations@myfoothills.ca. No security question is required as Foothills is setup for auto deposit. All donations will be directed to the Foothills General Fund unless instructions are included in the "Message" section of your e-Transfer providing the desired designation. Multiple designations are acceptable. There are no fees associated with this form of giving. Please include your full name and phone number in the memo field to be sure we can identify you in our records and for tax receipt purposes.

Planned Giving

Planned giving of securities, bequests and life insurance can provide an opportunity for individuals to build a legacy for the future in a tax efficient manner. Following careful planning & prayerful consideration, should gifts of securities be of interest, please view our brochure here for more information. Frequently Asked Questions

What are the different funds?

GENERAL FUND
Supports the main ministries and functions of the church, including the cost of day-to-day operations. These ministries include Adult Ministries, Worship Arts, Children’s Ministries, Youth ministries, and Administration.
 
BUILDING FUND
Pays for our mortgage (currently scheduled to be paid by Aug 2025) as well as planned (preventative) and unplanned (unexpected repairs) projects required to maintain our building and technology.
 
MISSIONS FUND
Goes directly to supporting global impact efforts in Canada and world wide. Portions of this fund go to: the Global Advance Fund, Foothills Family International Workers, Camp Chamisall, and various Canadian ministries.
 
JUSTICE & COMPASSION FUND
Used to relieve poverty, restore dignity, work against injustice and help promote the kingdom reign of Jesus. This fund supports Foothills Family members and community members during times of need with a hand up (as opposed to a hand-out) approach.
 

How do I change or cancel my scheduled giving?

If you donate via your credit card on Realm, simply log in to your Realm account to make changes to the frequency or amount of your automatic giving by clicking on the 3 dots next to your scheduled donation. If you give via automatic bank withdrawal, email accounting to request the change. Please allow 5 days for your request to be completed.

 

How do I receive my tax receipt?

If you have a Realm account, you will receive an email with a link to retrieve your tax receipt in late January or early February following the donation year. If you do not have a Realm account, tax receipts will be mailed to your residence address by the end of February. If you have lost your receipt, please email the office to request a new one.
