Planning your visit to Foothills Alliance

We invite you to join with many of your friends and neighbours who come to Foothills each weekend.  You will probably notice the relaxed atmosphere and friendliness right away.  You can blend in if you like, but we try to make it easy for you to get connected.  At Foothills, we hope you'll find a place where you fit in -- so be sure to let us know how we can help.

Before You Arrive:

Here are a few things you might want to know if you are a first time guest of Foothills.

Service Times... Times are shown below and each service is about 75 minutes long.  There's worship music, prayer, occasional videos and dramas, and practical biblical teaching.

                                       - Sunday 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM

Who Attends... If you take a look around you'll discover married couples, singles, young people, older people, kids, professionals, labourers, working moms, and stay-at-home moms...a church family that is truly diverse.

Dress... Hey, it's Calgary! Casual or formal is OK with us.

Map... On the left is a link to a map of our facility to help you find your way around.

For Children... Extreme Kids, our children's ministry, is available for infants through Grade 6 at all weekend services.  If you would like your child to participate in Extreme Kids, please plan to arrive approximately 15 minutes prior to the service to get them registered and allow you time to get seated in the Worship Centre. 

Wheelchairs... our ushers will be glad to help you find a place in the Worship Centre.

Programs for Newcomers:

Foothills offers a number of opportunities to help you get connected with the Foothills community and to help you explore what Christian faith is all about.  Click on the icons for more information.

Alpha... The Alpha Course is an opportunity to explore Christian faith in a relaxed, friendly environment where we want to help you find answers to your questions.

Starting Point... Is an introduction to Foothills for newcomers.

NextStep... Is designed for people who are interested in becoming more connected with the Foothills family.

Get to Know Us:

Welcome Cart... When you arrive at a Saturday or Sunday service at Foothills, please make the Welcome Cart your first stop! We would love to meet you on your way in or on your way out. We will do our best to answer any questions you may have and give you a gift with some coupons for Connexions Cafe.

Connexions Cafe... Connexions is a warm spot to meet up with friends and family, or to enjoy a cup of coffee before the service.  Connexions is located in the hallway west of the Main Lobby.

Information Centre... If you have any questions once you're here, stop by the Information Centre in the Main Lobby and someone will be happy to help you.
